Delivery and returns

Tracked 24 is £5. It is a Royal Mail service that aims to arrive the next working day. The aim is not a guarantee, and some postcodes sit outside the usual aim. You get tracking through to the delivery point, and Royal Mail usually takes a photo when it is delivered. Compensation on this service is up to £75. It does not need a signature.

Special Delivery is £8. This is Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm the next working day. If it misses that time, Royal Mail’s own guarantee covers the postage, under Royal Mail’s terms. You get full tracking, a photo, and a signature. Compensation is higher, up to £750. A few postcodes are outside the 1pm guarantee, and Royal Mail will say so in the tracking.

Orders are dispatched on working days. Saturday and Sunday are not counted as the next working day for these services. If you place an order late in the day, it may leave on the following working day, after the transfer has shown.

Write from your account as soon as you can, and say what arrived. Leave the order as it is until the shop replies. Do not post anything back until the status says you should. A photo in the message is enough to start with.

Unused goods can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Message the shop from the order and wait until the status changes before you post the parcel. The shop will tell you where to send it. Opened, used, or damaged goods are looked at case by case.

If the shop sent the wrong thing, or it arrived damaged, the shop covers the return. If you have changed your mind, you pay the postage back unless the shop tells you otherwise. The original postage is not refunded on a change of mind.
